Monroe Health Center is seeking a full-time Payroll & Accounts Payable Clerk to work in the MHC Business Office in Union, WV. The Payroll & Accounts Payable Clerk supports the financial operations of the organization by ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, accounts payable processing, and related financial functions.

Process payroll and timekeeping (hours, PTO, holidays); review timesheets, deductions, and payroll taxes

Support accounts payable, petty cash reimbursements, and payroll vendor coordination

Respond to employee payroll inquiries; assist with journal entries and provider credentialing

Ensure compliance with FQHC, HRSA, and state/federal regulations; maintain strict confidentiality

High school diploma or equivalent with two years of payroll or accounting experience

Knowledge of payroll systems and tax regulations; strong attention to detail and communication skills

Greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance, phone calls, and payments

Maintain accurate records, follow HIPAA guidelines, and coordinate with clinical and billing staff
