Monroe Health Center provides comprehensive care, from primary and acute treatments to specialized referrals. Equipped with advanced diagnostics like radiology and EKG, we also offer mental health counseling, tele-mental health, and specialty services such as home health referrals and medical massage. Monroe Health Center offers a sliding fee plan that provides our services to you at a rate based on your income. You may apply for this plan even if you have insurance coverage. You must provide proof of income to apply.

Dr. Ramon Duran
DentistBio
Dr. Ramon Duran joins MHC after completing his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at the University of New England in Portland, Maine. He completed his undergraduate education at Virginia Tech and a medical certificate at VCU. Dr. Duran serves as the Dental Director and is fluent in English and Spanish and hopes this skill will assist in improving accessibility to dental services and improve the oral health for a wider range of patients. In his free time he enjoys watching soccer, staying active, and spending time with loved ones.
Angie Huffman
Dental HygienistBio
Angie Huffman joined the Craig County Dental Center as a Dental Hygienist in September 2010. After graduating from Alleghany High School, she received her Associate in Applied Science Degree at Virginia Western Community College. She is proud to be part of a team who provides quality dental care to all in need. She resides in Newport with her husband and two children,. She enjoys spending time with her family, being active in her church, and horseback riding.

Page joined the Craig County Dental Center in March 2025. A lifelong resident of Craig County, VA, she earned her degree in dental hygiene from Virginia Western in 2019. Outside of work, Page enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with her husband and daughter. Passionate about her community, she is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the dental health of her hometown.
