Clinical Counselor

New Castle, VA

MONROE HEALTH CENTER is seeking a clinically Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor to work in our Craig County Health Center and our School-Based Wellness Center in Craig County, Virginia. Must be a clinically Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist, or ability to be licensed. If you have a passion for your work and desire to make a positive impact on this community, this is an excellent opportunity for you. Candidate must be comfortable with a patient population of adults, school-aged youth, and adolescents, experience in a school setting is a plus.

Schedule

Hours of operation are Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm – No Weekends. We can be flexible with your schedule.

Pediatric Physician

Monroe Health Center is seeking a compassionate and energetic Pediatric Physician for our Union, West Virginia location. The ideal candidate must be licensed, experienced, and passionate about providing exemplary care to pediatric patients. As part of our team, the Pediatrician will manage a full caseload, work collaboratively with clinical and administrative staff, and serve as a community leader in health and wellness. Our Federally Qualified Health Center fosters a supportive, family-like atmosphere where staff members work together to provide high-quality care to our patients.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Licensed to practice in the state of West Virginia or ability to obtain license in WV
• Board Certified
• Current ACLS, PALS and BLS Certifications
• Good interpersonal skills and communication
• Computer skills with Electronic Medical Records
• Compassionate and caring of patients

Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm. No weekends.

Monroe Health Center is seeking a Full-time Mid-Level Provider (FNP or PA) for our Peterstown WV Health Center. Requires WV License and Board certification or eligibility to secure Licensure. Provide primary care medical services (acute and chronic) to all age populations.

We are seeking a professional, organized Front Office Specialist to join our fast-paced healthcare team. This role is key to creating a welcoming and efficient experience for patients. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, managing check-in/out, verifying insurance, handling calls, maintaining accurate records, collecting payments, and supporting clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow—all while upholding HIPAA standards. Compassion, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent; medical office training preferred.
1-2 years of experience in a medical office or customer service role is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
Ability to multitask and to stay organized in a busy environment.
Knowledge of medical terminology and incurance is a plus.
